– Come work with the professionals. We are a growing heavy truck shop and have only one position to fill.  The trucking industry is always in need of trucks and trucks will always need service.  We are looking for a self-motivated service advisor to join the team but hurry because there is only one position available.

Service advisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Greeting customers with a friendly attitude.
– Taking customer information along with vehicle/ problem information.
– Creating work orders.
– Estimating jobs.
– Contacting customer for pre-authorizations.
– Communicating customer information along with ticket information to technicians.
– Calling customers with final pricing and pick up information.
– Locating and ordering parts.
– Follow up ” thank you” communications with customers.
– Appointment scheduling.
– Answering phone calls.


Experience in customer service and sales is needed.  Good customer service skills along with a positive attitude are required to be successful in this position.  Typing and computer skills required.  Compensation will be hourly based and, eventually, be sales- and performance-based.  We offer competitive compensation so the sky is the limit to a motivated individual.  We are a truck service facility that has built our business around our people for over 10 years, and we pride ourselves on the level of customer service we provide.  If you are interested in joining our team, we look forward to meeting you and discussing the possibilities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Meet and greet all customers in a gracious, professional manner.
  2. Begin to develop customer satisfaction indices.
  3. Track time for repair order to develop, maintain “standards.”
  4. Contribute data as requested to the department operating budget.
  5. Strive to reduce customer wait time to 5 minutes before helping them.
  6. Schedule appointments on the customer appointment log.
  7. Take complete customer information on repair order.
  8. Communicate with customer to determine the nature of the problem.
  9. Complete detailed information on customer’s problem/s before passing it onto service.
  10. Communicate the dispatching of repair orders to the Lead Technician.
  11. Organize daily work load.
  12. Expedite all customer repair orders with the Lead Technician twice daily.
  13. Test drive all vehicles when requested.
  14. Up sell. Advise customer on car care.
  15. Review the Technicians Quality Card with the customer.
  16. Raise all customers’ hoods. Up sell.
  17. Price any suggested additional work in accordance with pricing practices.
  18. Indicate the exact repair instructions to both the technician and the customer.
